The Lady Titans ended round one of region play on a high note with a two game winning streak and outscoring their opponents 10-0. Gabby Segura and her stingy defense recorded their 4th shutout of the season on the road against Hunter on Tuesday. On the offensive side, Kylie Harris (8′, 9′, 12′, 68′) recorded the first four goal game in school history. Kylie Johnson (4′) had a great game of her own with a goal and two assists. Myka Bouwhuis (61′) ended her scoring drought with her third goal of the season. Anne Petersen (43′) also had a great game with an assist and a goal. Assists also came from Madi Wilcox (2), Grace Nelson and Taya Tobler.
The team currently sits in third place in region two after the first cylce. The Titans are looking to climb up the standings during the second half of region play and hope to accomplish one of their team goals of hosting a playoff game.
The Titans will first have to get through an outstanding Viewmont team that the Titans shocked 1-0 on the road a few weeks ago. The Vikings will be hungry to turn the tables on the Titans when they come to Titan Field tomorrow. Anyone interested in watching a great soccer game between two tough teams will not want to miss this game. The game is tomorrow at 3:30 pm. #GREATER EXPECTATIONS
