It was the home Davis Darts (8-0-0, 4-0-0) who defeated the visiting Syracuse Titans (2-6-1, 1-3-0) with a score of 4-1 (Dav: 17′,30′, 43′, 69′- Syr: 69′) at Angel Street Soccer Complex Tuesday afternoon.
It was set pieces that seemed to be the clear difference in the match as Davis converted both 1st half goals and their 3rd goal of the game off of Titan fouls.
In the 69th minute, freshman Ashlyn Hall found the back of the net with the lone goal for the Titans (2nd of the season) on a beautiful ball through the middle seam from Sophomore Savannah Allen.

Davis responded 30 seconds later with the games final goal.
Prep team was defeated 5-1 by Davis’ JV squad. It was a 2-0 goal differential at half. Taylor Tesch scored for her 3rd game in a row (4th of season) to pace the Titans in the loss.
Coach Allen & the Titan coaching staff are positive about the growth of the girls and the way they responded to a 3-0 deficit, but look forward to practice this week to continue to build the girls to help improve this young and growing team.
Syracuse hosts their first home region game this week, and first home game in nearly a month at Titan Field as they host the Granger Lancers (1-7-1, 0-4-1) Thursday September 8th, 3:30 pm.
