It was a furious second half comeback for the #3 Viewmont Vikings (10-2-0, 6-1-0) that defeated the Syracuse Titans upset bid (4-7-1, 3-4-1) Thursday afternoon.

The Titans came out on fire in the first half. It was Freshman Kelsey Steed that started the Titan scoring in the 11th minute for her first career goal. After a 22nd minute goal by the Vikings, Ashlyn Hall followed up with the brace in the 33rd and 35th minute for the final two goals for the Titans. Her team leading 7th & 8th goal of the 2016 campaign.
The 3 goals were assisted by Anne Petersen (2, 3rd and 4th of 2016), Savannah Allen (1st of 2016, 2nd of career) and Abby Hall (1st of 2016, 2nd career).

The Vikings mounted a furious comeback scoring 3 goals in the last 20 minutes of the game for the Region 2 victory.

Syracuse looks to continue to improve on their 2016 campaign with two more home games next week. On Tuesday the Titans take on the West Panthers (3-8-0, 3-4-0) on Titan field at 3:30 pm.
