2017 Season Schedule

2016 Syracuse Titans

The 2017 schedule for the lady Titans has been finalized for next season. It looks to be a challenging entry back into the always tough Region 1, a region Syracuse participated in for the first 8 years of the schools history. They will also be part of the the newly aligned UHSAA 6A classification.

The Titans will look to continue their recent success of two straight playoff appearances. Only 4 out of the 7 Region 1 teams will be playoff qualifiers (4 out of 5 teams in the other 3 regions), but the coaching staff feels our ladies are up to the task.

The preseason sees the Titans play West Jordan for the first time in school history and return to Provo for the back end of the game the bulldogs played up north in 2015. Syracuse will finish the preseason by heading down south for a team trip to St. George, playing Desert Hills and Pine View.

The region schedule continues the longest games played streak in school history (having played every year in the schools history; 20 times) against Layton and defending State Champions Davis. It also reintroduces old region foes; Clearfield, less than 4 miles down the road, Northridge, 2015 playoff opponent Weber and 2016 5a finalist Fremont.

The Titans return their leading goal scorer Sophomore Ashlyn Hall (18 goals), their top two assists leaders, Hall (8 assists) and Junior Adriana Owen (6 assists) and their top keep in the net Senior Gabby Segura (10 career shutouts).
