The Syracuse Titans (6-0-0, 2-0-0) defeated the visiting Clearfield Falcons (1-3-1, 0-1-0) Thursday afternoon 9-1 at Titan Field.
Freshman Caroline Stringfellow was on fire setting a school record for individual goals in a game, netting 5 of the 9 goals for the home team (11 on the season). Other Titans putting in goals were Sophomore Ashlyn Hall (8th season, 26th career), Freshman Sarah Wynn (6th of season), Senior Jessica Jude (2nd season, career) and Junior Kloe Swallow netted her first career goal in the victory.
Assists on the night came from Wynn with 3 (8 season/career), two from Hall (7 season/15th career), Junior Lexi Chenoweth (3rd Season/Career), Junior Porter Brown (1st season, 5th career), Junior Savannah Allen (2nd season, 5th career), and Senior Abbie Riley and Junior Taylor Tesch both netted their first career assists. Senior Gabby Segura earned the W in the net, her 24th career.
The Titans outshot the visitors 23-3, on goal as well 14-1. Syracuse outshot Clearfield on corner kicks 3-2 and fouls were at 1 a piece for both teams.

The prep team (5-1-0) recored a 2-0 victory over the Falcons JV squad. Sophomore Jenna Kelly put in her first goal of the season and Junior Taylor Tesch put in her first JV goal of the season in the victory.
The Titans hit the road next Tuesday August 29th to face the Weber Warriors (2-2-2, 0-2-0).
