The Titans look to follow up their 2017 record breaking season with another incredible run in 2018.
Back on the schedule is 2017 first round playoff oppenent West Jordan, completing the back end of a home-home series between the Titans and Jaguars. After heading to the valley the Titans will open their 2018 home campaign against the Ogden Tigers. A semi finalist in 5A last year, the tigers should be a great test for the young Titans. Ogden holds a 1-0 overall series lead over SHS, defeating them in the 2016 Ogden Cup.
The Titans will complete their preseason with their annual team trip down south to St. George. They visit the Dixie Flyers in the two schools first ever meeting and continue their incredibly competitive series against the Thunder of Desert Hills for the 4th year in a row.
Region 1 play looks to be fierce once again as ‘Cuse looks to defend their first region title in school history. It won’t be easy with two early road games at Northridge and Davis, throw in 2018 semi finalist Layton and back to back state finalists (2016,2017) Weber and Fremont, once again it should be a great battle for the title.
Syracuse returns 8 starters from last years squad and 2 2016 starters (seasons ending injuries in ‘17), including all 6 All-State athletes from last season.
